DAMAGE SURVEYS

Humber Inspection International are highly experienced damaged cargo investigators who work with many leading marine insurance companies, freight forwarders and commodity traders by protecting their interests when damage has occurred during transportation via container or vessel. We are also frequently nominated by vessel owners to perform damage surveys on their behalf.

The purpose of the survey is to perform a thorough investigation of the circumstances leading up to the damage. Potential causes are identified, the extent of the damage is recorded and a damage limitation plan is presented. Our Damage Survey Reports and accompanying photographic or video evidence, are accepted by many leading marine insurance underwriters.

Humber Inspection International also offer a range of loading surveys aimed at limiting and preventing cargo damage.
