Humber Inspection International is an innovative, leading supplier of professional inspection services and specialist marine surveys and part of the Humber Inspection Services Group.

The company was established near the port of Immingham, UK, in 1993 by Managing Director, Alan Wilson. Our international network of offices allows us to provide our clients with first class services around the globe. The company is continually researching new markets and expanding its worldwide network through a combination of our own wholly owned companies and similarly sized associated partners.

Humber Inspection International is the preferred inspection partner of many leading international trading companies, shipping companies and insurance agencies.

Our experts provide inspection, sampling, weight control and consultancy solutions for cargoes of steel products; petroleum; petrochemicals; fertiliser; coal; grain; animal feed; sugar; edible oils; foodstuffs, metals and ores; concentrates; timber and paper; steel scrap and machinery. We also conduct specialist marine surveys such as Draught Survey, On/Off Hire Survey, Condition Survey and Hatch Testing (Ultrasonic and Hose Testing).

We are highly respected for our bunkering and petroleum expedition work. Our reputation as experts in these fields has allowed us to attract numerous key companies. We also provide comprehensive laboratory testing facilities in order to compliment our full range of surveying services.

Humber Inspection International are specialists in pre-shipment inspection (PSI). We work with exporters and buyers in protecting their interests to ensure that goods meet contractual standards. Our inspectors have vast experience of PSI, working with a multitude of products from frozen foods to steel mill plants.

We currently handle over 150 million tonnes of cargo in the United Kingdom per annum. As a consequence, the number of inspectors and surveyors whom we employ can rival any of our competitors.

The Company is accredited by ISO 9001 : 2000, and are members of The British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA), The Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), The Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Association (FOSFA) and The Institute of Petroleum.
